About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The agent builds and manages an agency in an exclusive territory, develops relationships and market access, presents products to groups and individuals, and grows a client network. The role offers performance-based 1099 compensation, a 48-month incentive package, a dedicated Service Representative, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
