About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Hoover, Alabama. The agent builds and manages an insurance business serving educators, helping clients pursue affordable insurance solutions and financial security. The role involves developing market access and client relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and engaging in networking, community, and industry events. Agents receive a dedicated Service Representative for client service work, an exclusive territory, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required, although Registered Representatives must establish one within two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state General Lines Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state General Lines Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• Two to five years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
