About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The agent will build and manage an agency, develop market access and relationships, present products to groups and individuals, and grow a network through community and industry engagement. The role offers a multiline product portfolio, technology, training, market and relationship-building programs, and a dedicated Premier Service Representative to handle client service work. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with incentives tied to activity and success, including quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage an agency.
• Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
