About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Lake Oswego, Oregon. The agent will build and manage an agency serving educators, identify and present insurance and financial solutions, develop relationships, and grow a business in an exclusive territory. The position offers performance-based 1099 compensation and support intended to help the agent establish and expand their operations.

Horace Mann provides a dedicated Service Representative for client service work, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required, although Registered Representatives must establish one within two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• Two to five years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
