About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The agent will build and manage an agency, develop relationships and market access in an exclusive territory, and present products to groups and individuals. The role offers performance-based 1099 compensation, an incentive package during the first 48 months, dedicated client-service support, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required, although Registered Representatives must establish one within two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills to build and manage an agency.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
