About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to build and manage an insurance agency serving educators in Albany, Oregon. The agent will help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security by presenting insurance and financial products, developing client relationships, and growing a local network. The role offers an exclusive territory, a dedicated Service Representative for client service work, technology, training, and market and relationship-building programs. Compensation is performance-based and structured as 1099, with incentives during the first 48 months. No external office is required, though Registered Representatives must establish one within two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
