About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to build and manage an agency serving educators in the Tillamook, Oregon area. The agent helps educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security, while developing a business through relationship-building, networking, and product presentations. Horace Mann provides a dedicated Service Representative, an exclusive territory, technology, training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. The position offers performance-based 1099 compensation and incentives during the first 48 months. No external office is required, although Registered Representatives must establish one within two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
