About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to build and manage an agency serving educators in an exclusive territory in Medford, Oregon. The agent identifies and presents insurance and financial solutions to educators, develops relationships and market access, and grows a business through networking and community engagement. A dedicated Service Representative handles client service work so the agent can focus on business development. Horace Mann provides technology, training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs to support the agency.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state General Lines insurance licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
