About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Middleton, Wisconsin, to help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The agent builds and manages an agency, develops relationships and market access, and presents insurance and financial products to groups and individuals. The role includes networking and participation in community and industry events, as well as investing time and resources in the long-term success of the business. Agents receive performance-based 1099 compensation, an incentive package for the first 48 months, a dedicated Premier Service Representative, technology, training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong business management skills.
- Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
