About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Appleton, Wisconsin. The agent will build and manage an agency serving educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role focuses on growing market access, developing strong relationships, presenting insurance and financial products to groups and individuals, and building a successful long-term business. Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation, incentives during the first 48 months, a dedicated Service Representative to handle client service work, an exclusive territory, technology and ongoing training, a multiline product portfolio, and programs to support market and relationship-building. No external office is required for the first two years.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong business management skills.
Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses, including Life and Health Insurance and Property and Casualty Insurance licenses.
Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
