About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to build and manage an insurance agency serving educators and their families in Middleton, Wisconsin. The role focuses on identifying insurance and financial solutions that support educators’ financial security, building market access and relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and developing a sustainable business. Agents receive performance-based 1099 compensation, an industry-leading 48-month incentive package, a dedicated Premier Service Representative to handle client service work, training, technology, a multiline product portfolio, and programs to support market and relationship building.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills to build and manage an agency.
• Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
