Agents operate as independent contractors and represent American Family and its products exclusively. The agent is responsible for the agency’s overall management, sales, and growth, including hiring a team and working with them to meet strategic business goals. American Family offers agents the opportunity to build a business with training and support from a local team in areas such as marketing, prospecting, and business consultation. Agents can offer American Family Insurance products as well as products and services through subsidiary partners. The opportunity includes unlimited compensation potential and a New Agent Incentive Program.
Requirements
- Obtain Property and Casualty and Life insurance licenses.
- Pass a motor vehicle, financial/credit, and criminal background check.
- Demonstrated track record of success.
- Strong work ethic and motivation to build a business requiring time, energy, and commitment.
