About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in West Memphis, Arkansas, to build and manage an insurance agency serving educators and their families. The agent identifies and implements insurance and financial solutions, develops market access and relationships, presents products to groups and individuals, and participates in networking and community events. The role requires investing time and resources in the long-term success of the business. Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation, incentives during the first 48 months, a dedicated Premier Service Representative, a focused educator market, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. Horace Mann Educators Corporation was founded by educators in 1945 and serves educators and families as a national multiline insurance and financial services company.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage an agency.
- Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
