About The Position
Horace Mann is hiring an Exclusive Agent in El Dorado, Arkansas. The agent builds and manages an agency focused on serving educators and their families with insurance and financial services solutions. The role involves developing market access and relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and participating in networking and community events. A dedicated Premier Service Representative handles client service work so the agent can focus on growing the business. Horace Mann provides a niche market, a multiline product portfolio, technology, training, and market- and relationship-building programs. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with activity- and success-based incentives and quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and business management skills.
- Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
