About The Position

Warren Oil is hiring a Forklift Operator for its manufacturing facility in West Memphis, Arkansas. The role operates forklifts and other power equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, count, and stage merchandise, and includes Order Selector duties. The operator is accountable for safe, efficient equipment operation and for maintaining accurate inventory and shipment records.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of forklift experience in an industrial environment.
Basic math skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, managers, and other departments.
Ability to pass a site-specific forklift performance evaluation and academic training course.
Ability to move on and off the forklift frequently.
Ability to intermittently lift 10 to 60 pounds and regularly bend, stoop, push, and pull.

Responsibilities

Safely receive inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations.
Stack and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
Check inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage, and report quality variances.
Pick and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct product types and quantities are loaded.
Weigh products and record weights on individual pallets.
Move products from staging or storage areas into trailers.
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
Complete daily preoperational equipment inspections and checklists, and perform minor equipment maintenance.
Operate LPG and electric forklifts safely and efficiently according to prescribed work methods.
Maintain inventory records and reports, assist with physical inventories, and ensure proper stock rotation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
