About The Position
Brock University is seeking to fill an existing vacancy for an Instructor for APCO 1P00 – Introduction to Media Computation for the Fall D2 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The compensation for a half course is $7,887.59 effective September 1, 2026, based on approximately 195 hours. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture, or equivalent, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Duties include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration, including grade appeals and academic integrity cases, in accordance with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement. Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science
- University-level teaching experience in fundamental computer science and computer programming
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations)
