About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Lab Demonstrator for the APCO 1P00 Introduction to Media Computation course. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The nominal workload is 10 hours per week, including demonstrating, marking, and lab preparation. The role involves assisting students, maintaining lab safety, preparing and cleaning labs, and marking reports under the direction of the Senior Lab Instructor.
Requirements
- MSc or currently enrolled in a graduate program in Computer Science.
- Completed APCO 1P00 or an equivalent course.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures.
Responsibilities
- Present an introduction to the lab.
- Demonstrate laboratory techniques.
- Teach and assist students during the lab.
- Maintain safe lab conditions.
- Be responsible for lab preparation and cleanup.
- Mark lab reports.
- Attend meetings as needed.
