This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for a Lab Demonstrator for COSC 1P02 Introduction to Computer Science during the Winter D3 term. The nominal workload for this position is 10 hours per week, consisting of 6 hours demonstrating and 4 hours of marking and lab preparation. Duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement. The role involves working under the direction of the Senior Lab Instructor, being familiar with laboratory procedures, presenting an introduction to the lab, demonstrating laboratory techniques, teaching and assisting students during the lab, maintaining safe lab conditions, preparing and cleaning up the lab, marking lab reports, and attending meetings as needed.
