Requirements

• Sound knowledge of software such as IntelliJ, Dr. Java, JCreator, directly or indirectly used within COSC 1P02.
• Previous Course Coordinator experience.
• Completion of COSC 1P03 and COSC 2P03 (or equivalents) with a grade of 75% or higher.
• Familiarity with Brock Java Library.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Previous successful teaching/marking experience in computer science.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Availability during normal office hours for group meetings and labs.
• Availability after office hours to provide general consultations.
• High level of interpersonal skills and effective verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated academic integrity and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

• Must have completed COSC 1P02 (or equivalent) and achieved the grade of 75% or higher in it.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the seminar/tutorial/lab sections for a particular course.
• Coordinating Teaching Assistants/Lab Demonstrators/Marker-Graders and holding meetings with them.
• Assisting in the preparation of marking schemes.
• Coordinating the marking of course assignments and/or midterm, progress and final exams.
• Performing any other related duties as may be required by the course instructor.
