About The Position

Brock University is seeking to fill an existing vacancy for an Instructor for the course KINE 2P19, Coaching Theory, for the Fall D2 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The compensation is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (nominally 195 hours) or $15,775.20 per full course (nominally 390 hours). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. The duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement and include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, course administration, grade appeals, and cases of academic dishonesty.

Requirements

  • PhD in Kinesiology or related discipline
  • Prior teaching and/or research experience in the discipline
  • Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (course/performance evaluations) would be an asset.
