About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for SPMA 3P08 Sport Event Management Lecture for the Fall D2 term. This position involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time, including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration. The compensation is effective September 1, 2026, with specific rates for a half course and a full course. Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Requirements

PhD in Sport Management or related discipline is preferred.
Prior teaching and/or research experience in this topic area.
Relevant work/industry experience.
Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations) in this topic area.
