About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for SPMA2P27 Introduction to Sport Finance Blended for the Fall D2 term. This position involves scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration. The compensation for this role is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (195 hours nominally) or $15,775.20 per full course (390 hours nominally). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.

Requirements

• PhD in Sport Management or related discipline is preferred.
• Prior teaching and/or research experience in this topic area.
• Relevant work/industry experience.
• Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations) in this topic area.
