About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for KINE 3P91 Fall D2. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group and involves teaching Training Principles. The compensation is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (195 hours nominally) and $15,775.20 per full course (390 hours nominally). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Duties and responsibilities align with Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement, including scheduled contact time, lecture preparation, student consultation, marking, grading, and course administration.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and enrolled in a PhD in Kinesiology or related discipline is required.
  • Prior teaching and/or research experience in the discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (course/performance evaluations) would be an asset.
