Requirements
- A PhD in Public Health, Child Health or related field.
- A sound knowledge of public health nutrition with an emphasis on infant, childhood, and adolescent nutrition is required.
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience with large class size at the undergraduate university level.
- Evidence of competent and effective experience facilitating and organizing weekly seminars.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with online delivery tools (MS Teams, Brightspace, Lifesize, etc.) is an asset.
- After the deadline, if no qualified PhD applications have been received, those at ABD or those with a master’s degree combined with relevant experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Non-classroom time including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.
Benefits
- Compensation Effective September 1, 2026 - $7,887.59 per half course (195 hours nominally)
- Compensation Effective September 1, 2026 - $15,775.20 per full course (390 hours nominally)
