About The Position

Brock University is seeking to fill an existing vacancy for an Instructor in NUTRITION IN HEALTH & DISEASE. This role involves scheduled contact time with students, preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration. The compensation is effective September 1, 2026, with a rate of $7,887.59 per half course (195 hours nominally) and $15,775.20 per full course (390 hours nominally). Instructors teaching a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course. Requirements

A PhD in Health Sciences/Medical Sciences or related field.
A sound knowledge of the role of nutrition in a clinical setting with an understanding of nutritional practices for the prevention and or management of specific diseases or disorders is required.
Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience with large class size at the undergraduate university level.

Nice To Haves

Experience with online delivery tools (MS Teams, Brightspace, Lifesize, etc.) is an asset.
Those at ABD or those with a master’s degree combined with relevant experience will be considered if no qualified PhD applications are received.
