About The Position
This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for ARTL 3P41: Approaches to Curatorial Practices – D3, also offered as HAVC 3P41. This course involves the practical application of methodological and theoretical approaches to curating. The course format includes lectures and seminars, with 3 hours per week. It is a blended course, with in-class sessions on Tuesdays from 13:30 to 15:00 and online asynchronous components.
Requirements
- Relevant MA, MFA or PhD.
- Previous teaching experience at the university level in the same subject field is required.
- Relevant professional experience in the field.
- Demonstrated teaching competence through previous course evaluations and 3 letters of reference.
- Appropriate professional affiliations.
- Demonstrated experience in experiential learning and online teaching.
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students.
- Non-classroom time including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration.
- Handling grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.
