About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Installation Technician to support the installation, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems at customer and job sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, working with tools, and providing professional on-site service. Travel to client locations and job sites is required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, networking, or low-voltage systems preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and understand technical diagrams, instructions, and installation documentation
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport equipment and materials
  • Willingness and ability to travel to multiple customer locations and job sites as needed
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in different environments, including construction sites, commercial facilities, and customer locations

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as an Installation Technician, Field Technician, Service Technician, or in a related technical role preferred
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, test, and maintain equipment, systems, and related components according to company specifications
  • Travel to client locations, job sites, and facilities to perform installations and provide on-site technical support
  • Read and follow installation instructions, diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other equipment necessary to complete installations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation, equipment, connectivity, and system issues
  • Perform routine testing and inspections to ensure systems are properly installed and functioning correctly
  • Prepare job sites and ensure all equipment, materials, tools, and supplies are available before beginning installations
  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, cables, hardware, and installation materials
  • Communicate professionally with customers, team members, supervisors, and other contractors
  • Provide customers with basic instructions and information regarding installed equipment and systems
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly secure tools and equipment
  • Follow company safety procedures, industry standards, and job-site requirements during installations and travel
  • Complete service reports, installation documentation, and other required paperwork accurately and on time
