About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring an Installation Associate in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, nine-month contract opportunity. The associate handles and installs household gas and electric appliances, follows manufacturer specifications and proper installation procedures, and tests appliances to confirm they function properly. The role also includes checking the quality of work, participating in associate meetings, communicating concerns to management, and using third-party software to document daily work performed. The opportunity is open to entry-level installers with 0–1 years of experience. Advanced-skilled candidates must have at least one year of experience with appliance delivery and installation services. The offered pay range is $23.00–$25.00 per hour; pay is based on factors including education, work experience, location, job duties, and certifications.

Requirements

0–1 years of experience for entry-level installers.
At least one year of experience with appliance delivery and installation services for advanced-skilled candidates.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment for appliance installation.

Responsibilities

Accurately handle and install gas and electric household appliances.
Follow proper installation procedures and techniques, and test appliances to ensure proper functionality.
Install appliances according to manufacturer specifications using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
Perform quality checks on work performed by the associate and coworkers.
Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.
Use third-party software applications to enter data and document work performed daily.
