About The Position

Muleshoe Vet Supply is hiring an Inside Sales team member to support salesmen and keep orders moving. The role also provides store coverage: either the Inside Sales employee or the Store Clerk must be present so the store remains covered. Lunches and time off must be coordinated with the Store Clerk. When covering for the Store Clerk, the employee helps with store responsibilities such as greeting and assisting customers and handling checkout. Store customers take priority while covering. If neither Warehouse Staff nor the Warehouse Manager is available, the employee helps serve warehouse customers. The position handles sales and order processing, shipment corrections, billing and credit memos when needed, coordination between salesmen and drivers, and updates to website pricing and inventory. The employee is expected to help wherever needed when time allows, arrive at least 15 minutes before opening, and remain until closing.

Requirements

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
Be comfortable using computers and Acumatica.
Be able to sit at a computer for long periods, stand and walk during the day, and lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

Support the salesmen and keep their orders moving.
Coordinate coverage, lunches, and time off with the Store Clerk so the store remains covered.
When covering the Store Clerk, greet and assist store customers and handle checkout; prioritize store customers during coverage.
Help cover warehouse customers when neither Warehouse Staff nor the Warehouse Manager is available.
Arrive at least 15 minutes before opening and stay until closing.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and communicate with salesmen by email or phone.
Process field orders by printing Rx labels and pick lists.
Process app orders by printing Rx labels and pick lists and completing the order in the app.
Complete sales for the salesmen.
Correct sales orders and shipments.
Print shipping labels.
Prepare hazmat declaration sheets when needed.
Take completed orders to the warehouse for the delivery driver.
Run reports and process credit memos as needed.
Release orders handled by the employee after confirming that no corrections are needed.
When Outside Sales cannot do so, handle billing and credit memos, including releasing invoices and releasing and applying credit memos.
Act as a go-between for salesmen and drivers when needed.
Help keep website pricing and inventory up to date.
Help wherever needed when time allows.
