About The Position

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor at Sally Beauty creates a memorable shopping experience and helps customers with their beauty needs, including hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Able to perform physical activities including extended standing and walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of retail sales or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Inform customers about and enroll them in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.
• Apply product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Read and explain product labels.
• Follow directions and perform other duties assigned by the manager.
