About The Position

Ferguson is seeking an associate to join its sales team as an Inside Sales Representative, supporting valve and automation project quotations. The role supports outside sales on day-to-day and EPC project quotations, serves internal and external customers, and provides customer service and technical guidance. The representative works with vendors and the district sales team, builds trusted working relationships, and continually learns about products.

Requirements

Strong sales skills, including the ability to upsell.
A proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and making timely decisions.
Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments.
General digital literacy, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

Nice To Haves

Three or more years of experience with fasteners, valves, or fittings in the oil and gas industry is highly preferred.
A highly motivated, customer-service-oriented approach and the ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Support the outside sales team with day-to-day and EPC project quotations.
Maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
Deliver exceptional customer service and provide technical support and guidance.
Interact with key vendors and develop relationships to support sales.
Work with the district sales team to support quotations.
Build trusted relationships across the district to enable seamless collaboration.
Continue learning and training on products.
