About The Position

Ferguson is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join its sales team and quote valve and automation projects. The role supports the outside sales team with day-to-day and EPC project quotations, maintains relationships with internal and external customers, and provides customer service and technical support. The representative will work with vendors and the district sales team, build trusted working relationships across the district, and continually learn about products and processes. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with overtime as needed. Pay begins at $25 per hour and may be higher based on experience; the posting also lists a pay range of $20.57 to $32.91 per hour. The role is eligible for a bonus or incentive plan. Driver duties and responsibilities may also be part of the role.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.
• Strong sales skills, including the ability to upsell.
• Ability to respond quickly to customer needs and make timely decisions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments.
• General digital literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of experience with fasteners, valves, or fittings in the oil and gas industry is highly preferred.
• A motivated, customer-service-oriented approach and the ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities
