About The Position

ABC Supply is the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products. Inside Sales Associates provide customer service by helping customers purchase products for roofing, building, and remodeling projects. The role involves understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products and solutions, processing sales, coordinating with the warehouse, and resolving service concerns.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of experience in roofing, siding, and windows, such as roofing supply sales or site work with a crew.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow a product and supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-sell additional products and supplies.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payment and apply it to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinate customer pick-ups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time and all items are accounted for.
• Reorder products to keep store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns.
