About The Position

ABC Supply Interiors is a specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing, and other building materials for commercial and residential contractors. The company combines the products and capabilities of a national distributor with the service and personal touch of a locally owned business.

As an Inside Sales Associate, you will help customers purchase materials for a variety of building projects. You will provide superior service and building-material expertise from the initial greeting through completion of each sale.

Requirements

• Bilingual speaking ability in Spanish and English is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
• Detail- and service-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience with interior building products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in developing ABC Supply Interiors solutions to meet their needs.
• Discuss the features and benefits of products and services.
• Build rapport with new customers and nurture relationships with long-term customers.
• Solicit customer feedback on products and services.
• Coordinate delivery requests to promote efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in developing the branch sales plan and strategy.
• Assist in designing and executing the merchandising strategy.
• Determine customer needs, recommend appropriate products and solutions, and upsell additional products and supplies for each job.
• Answer incoming phone calls and emails and assist customers in a timely manner.
• Accept payments and apply them to the appropriate customer accounts.
• Coordinate customer product pickups with the warehouse.
• Reorder products to keep store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns.
