About The Position

Rx Technology is looking for an Inside Sales Representative who excels at building accurate technology solutions, delivering fast turnaround times, and growing revenue within our existing client base. This role combines sales support, account development, and quoting expertise. You will be responsible for creating accurate proposals across multiple technology platforms while proactively identifying opportunities for renewals, hardware refreshes, licensing updates and additional services within existing accounts. Success in this seat comes from supporting other AMs with their accounts, staying ahead of client needs, leveraging referral business from manufacturers and existing customers, and consistently uncovering opportunities that drive growth. Your account portfolio is your opportunity. You'll earn commission based on the gross profit generated from the business you develop within existing customer relationships, creating a clear path for career advancement into an Account Manager role.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, sales support, or technology quoting within an MSP, VAR, systems integrator, or technology solutions provider.
  • Experience creating and managing technology quotes across multiple manufacturers.
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue within existing customer accounts.
  • Experience working with CRM and PSA platforms, preferably ConnectWise.
  • Familiarity with distributor pricing and procurement processes.

  • Experience with OEM deal-registration programs.

  • Current certifications are a plus. Rx Technology will support ongoing professional development and certification attainment, including: Cisco Sales Certifications, Cisco Meraki SMNA, HPE Sales Certifications, ConnectWise, Channel online, and other training, Other manufacturer specific sales accreditations as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate, professional quotes across key technology lines, including Cisco, Meraki, HPE, Fortinet, Lenovo, and other strategic OEM partners.
  • Utilize ConnectWise and distributor pricing tools, including Ingram Micro, TD SYNNEX, and other authorized distributors.
  • Validate bills of materials (BOMs) with engineering and procurement teams to ensure accuracy before submission.
  • Maintain quote accuracy while meeting established turnaround-time expectations.
  • Manage and grow revenue within an assigned base of existing client accounts.
  • Identify and act on warranty expirations, renewals (subscriptions, warranties, and more), hardware refresh opportunities, end-of-life/end-of-support replacements, and service and product add-on opportunities.
  • Proactively engage customers to drive renewal, upgrades, and additional sales opportunities.
  • Support quarterly business reviews and customer account planning initiatives.
  • Manage OEM deal registrations through vendor portals such as Cisco CCW, HPE, and other manufacturer programs.
  • Protect and maximize deal profitability through proper registration and pricing strategies.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records within ConnectWise, including opportunities, sales stages, forecasts, activities, and next steps.
  • Ensure strong pipeline visibility and accountability throughout the sales process.
