About The Position

This role involves managing national chain retail partner accounts through handling inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues. The Inside Sales Representative will foster collaboration with corporate and store-level contacts to drive growth and enhance sales opportunities. They will also develop and maintain strong relationships with distributor personnel, corporate buyers, and suppliers. The position utilizes Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems for order, invoice, and payment processing, and monitors performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Leveraging data and insights to influence sales strategies and support brand and category growth within assigned accounts is also a key aspect of this role. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma
  • 0 to 6 plus months of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls from national chain retail partners to manage account inquiries, order processing, and issue resolution
  • Foster collaboration with corporate and store-level contacts to drive growth and enhance sales opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributor personnel, corporate buyers, and suppliers to understand and meet customer needs effectively
  • Utilize Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems for efficient processing of orders, invoices, and payments to support inside sales functions
  • Monitor performance metrics and sales activities to track progress against set objectives and identify areas for improvement
  • Leverage data and insights to influence sales strategies and support brand and category growth within the assigned accounts
