About the position
Allworth Financial is seeking an up-and-coming sales professional for the role of Inside Sales Business Consultant. The primary goal of this role is to manage relationships with prospects and convert them into committed or closed clients. Responsibilities include taking and setting initial appointments, uncovering prospect goals and pain points, effectively communicating the value proposition of Allworth, and managing and following up on leads throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate should have proven sales experience in the financial services industry and the ability to manage and communicate with multiple prospects and colleagues simultaneously. The salary for this position ranges from $70K to $80K base with a total compensation potential of approximately $115K to $150K.
Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship with prospects and convert them into committed or closed clients
- Take and set initial appointments from internal call team or independently
- Take and manage custodial program prospect referrals
- Take first appointments scheduled by internal Relationship Managers
- Uncover prospect goals and pain points
- Effectively communicate and articulate the Allworth value proposition to prospective clients
- Deepen understanding of Allworth's value proposition and share differentiators with prospects
- Gain agreement from prospects for a second meeting with Advisor or commitment to becoming an Allworth client
- Manage, coordinate, and follow up on all assigned future client leads from internal call team and custodial referral partners throughout the sales process
- Take custodial referral leads
- Assist with call campaigns and events as needed
- Build and develop meaningful relationships with custodial referral branch representative and key custodial constituents
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal constituents
- Proven ability to manage, organize, follow-up, and communicate with numerous prospects and internal colleagues simultaneously
- Ability to effectively manage and allocate time
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external constituents
- Expected travel: 5% - 25%
- Location: Addison or Folsom preferred but open to other locations. Hybrid in-office 3 days a week if commutable
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably with a Registered Investment Advisory or custodial firm
- Successful past sales experience
