About The Position

The Inside Account Representative helps maintain and develop current and new customer relationships. This key team role works directly with management and supports the sales team. The position focuses on excellent customer service, efficient responses to customer inquiries, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The company sells stainless steel screws and is a family-owned business that has been operating for more than 68 years. Training is provided, and the role offers an opportunity to learn new skills, work as part of a team, and build a career.

Requirements

Previous experience in account management, inside sales, or customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Accurate data-entry and organizational abilities, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to address client concerns and find solutions.
Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across departments.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage data.

Responsibilities

Build sustainable customer relationships and trust through open, interactive communication.
Maintain regular communication with assigned accounts and understand clients’ needs, preferences, and pain points.
Provide personalized solutions and promptly address customer issues.
Identify and assess customer needs to support excellent customer satisfaction.
Source new sales opportunities and follow up on leads and inquiries.
Collaborate with outside sales representatives to identify upsell opportunities.
Assist in preparing quotes and proposals.
Enter orders and purchase orders, and manage inventory.
Process orders accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
Handle order modifications and adjustments.
Provide general office administration support.
Maintain accurate records of interactions, orders, and account details; update customer profiles and contact information.
