About The Position
Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking an Inn Bar Back to support daily beverage operations and assist bartenders in delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Reporting to the Beverage Manager and the F&B Captain on Duty, the role helps ensure bars remain stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service. The position contributes to the member and guest experience by maintaining beverage inventory, supporting service efficiency, and upholding the resort’s hospitality standards. The Inn Bar Back supports bartenders during high-volume service; stocks beverage products and supplies; replenishes ice; receives, transports, organizes, and stores products; prepares bar stations for service and assists with closing; and maintains clean and orderly bar, service, storage, cooler, and equipment areas. The role also provides courteous service to members, guests, and fellow team members and performs other duties supporting Food & Beverage operations. Nice To Haves
- High-volume cocktailing and bartending experience preferred.
- Computer experience strongly preferred.
- Food Handler certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Support bartenders during high-volume food and beverage service periods.
- Maintain adequate stock of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies throughout each shift.
- Replenish ice bins and ensure bartenders have supplies needed for efficient service.
- Receive, transport, organize, and stock beverage products throughout the facility.
- Set up bar stations before service and assist with breakdown and closing duties at the end of each shift.
- Clean and organize bar areas, service stations, storage areas, coolers, and equipment to maintain sanitation and presentation standards.
- Remove empty bottles, trash, boxes, and other debris to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
- Ensure products are properly stored, rotated, and maintained according to operational standards.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and appearance standards throughout beverage service areas.
- Provide courteous and professional service to members, guests, and fellow team members.
- Support beverage operations as directed by the F&B Captain on Duty and Beverage Manager.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support Food & Beverage operations.
