About The Position

The Bar Back supports bartenders in providing smooth, high-energy drink service and a fun experience for Topgolf players. The role keeps the bar supplied with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice; cleans glassware, equipment, and utensils; and collects empty glasses and bottles. Bar Backs work closely with bartenders and other Playmakers, maintain a clean, safe, and organized bar, and follow applicable safety and sanitation standards while demonstrating Topgolf’s values of Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring.

This is an active, high-volume role involving extended periods on your feet, frequent movement between tasks, and lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Applicants must be at least the legal serving age in the jurisdiction of employment and retain any responsible beverage-service certifications required by law. Required availability includes Friday evenings, full availability on Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays except Christmas and Thanksgiving.

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift and perform frequent physical tasks.
• Ability to maintain pace and endurance during long shifts in a high-volume working environment.
• Availability on Friday evenings, full availability on Saturdays and Sundays, and availability to work holidays other than Christmas and Thanksgiving.

• Support bartenders by ensuring they have the supplies needed to provide continuous drink service.
• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
• Clean glassware, equipment, and utensils, and keep the bar clean and organized.
• Collect empty glasses and bottles to support smooth drink service.
• Work alongside bartenders and other Playmakers to ensure service runs smoothly and players have an enjoyable experience.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards and help keep the bar clean, safe, and compliant.
