About The Position

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking an Inn Bar Back to support daily beverage operations and assist bartenders in delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Reporting to the Beverage Manager and the F&B Captain on Duty, this position helps keep bars fully stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service. The role supports beverage inventory and service efficiency while upholding the resort’s hospitality standards and contributing to the member and guest experience.

Requirements

Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
Willingness to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Availability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

High-volume cocktailing and bartending experience preferred.
Computer experience strongly preferred.
Food Handler certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire; training and certification opportunities are provided.

Responsibilities

Support bartenders during high-volume food and beverage service periods.
Maintain adequate stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies throughout each shift.
Replenish ice bins and ensure bartenders have supplies necessary for efficient service.
Receive, transport, organize, and stock beverage products throughout the facility.
Set up bar stations before service and assist with breakdown and closing duties at the end of each shift.
Clean and organize bar areas, service stations, storage areas, coolers, and equipment to maintain sanitation and presentation standards.
Remove empty bottles, trash, boxes, and other debris to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Ensure products are properly stored, rotated, and maintained according to operational standards.
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and appearance standards throughout all beverage service areas.
Provide courteous and professional service to members, guests, and fellow team members.
Support beverage operations as directed by the F&B Captain on Duty and Beverage Manager.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support Food & Beverage operations.
