About The Position

Braze is hiring an Industry Marketing Lead to build and grow its Retail & Consumer Goods business. The role owns how Braze presents itself in this market, including industry strategy, segmentation, positioning, narrative, go-to-market plans, product launches, sales plays, and customer and partner proof. As a senior strategic partner, the lead works across Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, Product Management, Partnerships, and other marketing teams to align Braze’s products and value proposition with industry needs and business outcomes. The position calls for a deep understanding of retail marketers’ challenges, retail operations, and the KPIs that matter to industry leaders. The successful candidate will develop executive-focused messaging, translate complex technology and AI concepts into accessible language, and create scalable content and enablement that sellers can adapt. They will also represent Braze with customers and at selected industry events, contribute market and field insights to internal teams, and help develop customer evidence and joint partner plays. Success is measured by retail win rates, pipeline and bookings generated through retail plays, sales cycle length and deal size, adoption of launches and plays, seller certification, and new public retail customer stories. During the first 90 days, the role will build relationships with retail customers, sellers, and partners, and lead retail messaging and partner storylines for Shoptalk.
