Independent Optometrist - Walmart
About The Position
Launch independent optometry services in space leased inside a Walmart store. The independent lease holder takes a leading role in patient eye and vision care, as well as general health and wellbeing. The lease holder has autonomy to establish days of practice and hours of operation, control the patient schedule, set a fee schedule, and retain 100% of exam and professional fees. For fair market value, the lease holder may opt into equipment and instrumentation and administrative and/or opt-tech support services, where allowed by state law. This is an independent leasing opportunity, not a position of employment with Walmart Inc. or an entity owned by Walmart Inc. Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
- Valid state optometry license.
- General liability certificate.
- Professional liability insurance certificate.
