About The Position

Odyssea is an established carrier company with five years of experience in the U.S. transportation industry and a reliable customer base. Independent contractors can review available loads through the company app before accepting them. Load details include pickup and delivery locations, mileage, weight, rate, and other relevant information. Freight opportunities are available across the United States and Canada, subject to route and load availability, with local, regional, and over-the-road routes. Dispatch is app-based, there is no forced dispatch, and the agreement is non-exclusive. The driver is not required to load or unload freight, subject to load-specific requirements. Contractors choose opportunities that fit their availability. Payments are made weekly, every Thursday and Friday.

Requirements

• At least one year of driving experience.
• A 2016 or newer cargo van or Sprinter van; rental vehicles are not accepted.
• Cargo space of at least 120 × 50 × 50 inches (L × W × H).
• Alternatively, a 12–14-foot box truck under 10,000 lbs. GVW.
• Provide a driving record.
• Vehicle must have no decals, stickers, or company logos.
• Install and use MacroPoint and Trucker Tools.
• Commercial auto liability insurance of $1,000,000.
• Motor truck cargo insurance of $100,000, with a maximum deductible of $1,000.

Responsibilities

• Review and accept suitable freight loads through the company app.
• Install and use MacroPoint and Trucker Tools tracking apps.
• Provide a driving record.
• Operate a qualifying vehicle without decals, stickers, or company logos.
• Maintain the required commercial auto liability and motor truck cargo insurance.
