About The Position

Odyssea is seeking independent contractors in Wisconsin to transport freight using a qualifying cargo van, Sprinter van, or box truck. Loads are offered and managed through the company’s app, where contractors can review pickup and delivery locations, mileage, weight, rates, and other details before deciding whether to accept. There is no forced dispatch, and the agreement is non-exclusive. Contractors may choose from local, regional, and over-the-road routes across the United States and Canada, subject to route and load availability. Freight is no-touch unless a particular load requires otherwise. The company lists weekly payments every Thursday and Friday, as well as detention and layover pay.

Contractors must provide their own eligible vehicle and meet the stated vehicle, driving experience, driving record, insurance, and tracking-app requirements. Rental vehicles are not accepted.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of driving experience.
• Provide a driving record.
• Use a 2016 or newer cargo van or Sprinter van; rental vehicles are not accepted.
• Cargo vans must have minimum cargo space of 120" × 50" × 50" (L × W × H).
• Box trucks must be 12–14 feet and under 10,000 lbs GVW.
• Vehicle must not have decals, stickers, or company logos.
• Install and use MacroPoint and Trucker Tools.
• Commercial auto liability insurance of $1,000,000.
• Motor truck cargo insurance of $100,000, with a maximum deductible of $1,000.
• No separate MC authority is required.

Responsibilities

• Review available loads and their details through the company app.
• Choose and accept loads that fit their availability; dispatch is not forced.
• Transport freight on local, regional, or over-the-road routes, subject to availability.
• Install and use MacroPoint and Trucker Tools.
• Provide a driving record and maintain the required commercial insurance.
