About The Position

VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is hiring Sprinter and Cargo Van owner-operators under a written independent contractor agreement. The company does not hire company drivers. Owner-operators may negotiate rates with dispatchers and receive load offers tailored to their preferences. The posting states that there are many available loads and that dispatchers have at least four years of experience and broker contacts. Listed rates are $0.85–$1.35 per mile for Sprinter loads with long miles in good areas, $0.85–$1.10 per mile for long-mile loads in bad areas, and $1.25–$1.55 per mile for Sprinters in Canada. Requirements

Own a Sprinter or Cargo Van.
Be a US citizen, resident, green card holder, or holder of work authorization.
The owner-operator and any drivers must be at least 21 years old.
The owner-operator and any drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English.
Have at least 6 months of driving experience.
Sprinters must be model year 2016 or newer.
Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE.
Remove all decals from the vehicle.
Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
Drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a load.
