About The Position

VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is seeking Sprinter and cargo van owner-operators to work under a written independent contractor agreement. The company offers loads, dispatch support from dispatchers with more than four years of experience, and rates that can be negotiated with dispatchers. Loads are personalized based on the operator’s preferences. Payment is made within 3–5 business days, with a 3% quick-pay option. The stated operating days are Monday through Friday. The company does not hire company drivers.

Requirements

• Own a Sprinter or cargo van.
• Be a U.S. citizen, resident, green card holder, or work authorization holder.
• The owner-operator and any drivers must be at least 21 years old.
• The owner-operator and any drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English.
• Have at least six months of driving experience.
• Sprinter vehicles must be model year 2016 or newer.
• All vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE, and all decals must be removed.
• Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
• All drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a company load.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an owner-operator under a written independent contractor agreement.
• Accept loads through VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER after the driver has been approved, accepted, and registered.
• Tell the company what kinds of loads are preferred.
• Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
• Inform the company of vehicle changes before putting the vehicle on the road.
• Ensure the vehicle has at least four straps and PPE and that all decals are removed.
