Inbound Sales Representative
About The Position
Join Spectrum as an Inbound Sales Representative, with pay starting at $20 per hour and incentives that can bring top performers to an annual salary of over $110,000. You will connect customers with solutions that fit their lifestyles by recommending combinations of cable, internet, home phone, and mobile services. Your work will shape customer satisfaction and contribute to team success. This position is based in an office environment with variable hours, including weekends and holidays, and split days off.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably in voice, data, or video solutions; alternatively, 0.5 years of internal billing agent experience with sales success.
- At least 1 year of customer service or call center experience.
- 0.5 years of sales experience or 0.25 years of demonstrated sales success at Spectrum.
- Strong understanding of cable communications products, including video, data, voice, and mobile.
- Familiarity with billing systems.
- Skill in needs analysis, objection handling, and closing sales.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven computer proficiency.
- Ability to multitask and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Sound judgment, initiative, ambition, goal orientation, determination, self-confidence, and problem-solving ability.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend appropriate Spectrum products and services.
- Educate customers about product features and benefits and promote bundled solutions.
- Meet weekly and monthly sales targets using effective sales techniques.
- Build trust and rapport with new, existing, and former customers to encourage long-term loyalty.
- Handle retention calls and resolve billing inquiries to support customer satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain current knowledge of Spectrum campaigns, pricing, and product offerings to answer customer questions.
- Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy and help simplify the purchasing experience.
