About The Position

The Conrad New York Downtown is seeking a temporary In-Room Dining Server to join its In-Room Dining Team. The role delivers food and beverage orders while creating memorable guest experiences through warm, attentive hospitality. This is a Local 6 Union position requiring complete open availability; schedule restrictions cannot be accommodated. Full-time hours are not guaranteed. Hours and schedules depend on seniority and business needs, may be minimal until seniority is established, and can vary from week to week.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make each meal experience special.
• Set up room service trays and tables in advance to support timely order delivery.
• Assist with taking guest orders and respond to room service phone calls.
• Retrieve food and beverage orders and deliver them to guest rooms or meeting rooms.
• Present checks to guests, collect payments, and return signed checks to the order taker.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
