About The Position

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an In House Marketing Coordinator for its Waikiki team. This in-person role involves marketing to prospective and current owners at the resorts and scheduling guests to meet with a representative for a presentation. The coordinator greets and engages guests, encourages qualified prospects to attend a sales-preview tour, and makes tour reservations while following company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements. The role has minimum production standards and includes ongoing training and performance reviews. No travel outside the home-site area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills, and smart devices.
• Must maintain production standards.

Nice To Haves

• Sales and/or marketing experience; 1 to 3 years is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Wyndham Destinations as a positive and professional brand ambassador.
• Partner with resort staff to receive arrival sheets for checking-in guests.
• Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour or sales presentation.
• Screen and qualify potential customers according to company guidelines.
• Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits.
• Attend scheduled training sessions and department meetings.
• Keep current on marketing information and materials and industry trends.
• Set and review performance goals weekly, monthly, and annually.
• Meet minimum performance and production standards while following company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
